About Jessica

Jessica is a licensed acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist, and massage therapist in the state of Massachusetts. She graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture where she studied Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese and Japanese acupuncture styles, and orthopedic acupuncture. Her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology (Exercise Science) was earned at the University of Delaware and she completed the massage therapy program at the York Technical Institute in Mechanicsburg, PA. She is licensed by the board of medicine and is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Jessica is drawn to deep healing, the mind-body-spirit connection, and understanding how the physical body moves and functions in time and space. She takes a holistic and integrative approach to health and wellness and understands that we are each unique and complex beings. She strives to cultivate love and compassion in all aspects of her work and life and to provide heart-centered care for all.

She deeply believes that health is something that is consciously cultivated and that we must be active participants in our own process for true, long lasting change and profound transformation. Health and healing involve a multi-faceted approach that includes not just the acupuncture and bodywork during active treatment, but a combination of inner work, movement/exercise, mindful breathing, proper rest/sleep, nutrition/food medicine, herbal medicine, living in harmony with our environment, getting sunshine and fresh air, and community.

It is Jessica’s greatest goal as a practitioner to create a safe, kind, respectful, and honest space so that she and her patients can work together in partnership to help address the root of their disharmony and remove the physical and/or energetic blocks, patterns, and stagnation that prevents them from getting where they want to go and be. Jessica works with the intention of helping people meet their health goals so that they can live their best life possible and unlock their full potential physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
